Water Filter Stuck

I have removed several in the past; this one is stuck. Why can't I get the filter to exit the sleeve. It is stuck and I can't pull it out.

Push Button or Pull Tab

Open the Water Filter Compartment Door.
Turn the filter counterclockwise, to the left, and pull it straight out.
