How To Calculate Binary Number To Decimal On A Ti-36x

Note: To ensure you are in the proper mode for this conversion, please press [mode] and make sure your setting is on DEC for decimal.

Decimal to Hexadecimal

• Input 100.
• Press [2nd] [base n].
• Select `58;Hex and press [enter].
• 100 `58;Hex should be shown on the display.
• Press [enter].

The calculator should display 64h as the solution.

Decimal to Binary

• Input 100.
• Press [2nd] [base n].
• Select `58;Bin and press [enter].
• 100 `58;Bin should be shown on the display.
• Press [enter].

The calculator should display 1100100b as the solution.

Decimal to Octal

• Input 100.
• Press [2nd] [base n].
• Select `58;Oct and press [enter].
• 100 `58;Oct should be shown on the display.
