How Hard Can It Be To Do A Square Root?
My mom asked me 3 days ago if I could walk her through computing the square root of a number on her TI 30 sx calculator. How hard could that really be? We are now to our 3rd hour, and still not there. Somehow, when she enters <2nd function> <square root> 8 she is getting everything BUT 2 sqrt (2) on the screen. She doesn't even consistenly get the same answer. It would proabably be easier if we were in the same state, but we're doing this over the phone and she doesn't believe in pictures from cell phones. What gives? Thanks
