Carding Seniors And Storing License Numbers On Company Computers.

I am 63 years old .. I buy wine in many different stores and probably haven't been asked for ID in 40 some years. I went to my local Target this week and saw a great sale on one of the wines I enjoy so I decided to buy a few bottes. When I went to check out I was asked for my ID.. OK to me this is OFFENSIIVE AND JUST PLANE SILLY.. I am 63.. I would be thrilled to be mistaken for 43 or even 53 but under 21... that is just so wrong. I get into the movies for senior rates and no one asks for proof.. Now that is just a start of my complaint because I did show my license and to make things even more offensive the teller tried to put my license number INTO THE COMPUTER.. now that is just WRONG. I have had my ID hacked twice.. TJ Maxx and at a restaurant. We all know that this is becoming a real problem. Why would Target need to store a LITTLE OLD WOMEN'S drivers license in their computer to allow her to buy a $5 bottle of wine? What give with this? What are you using that information for?
