Connect Kindle To Tp-link W8960n Network

Hi Please help. I have two routers one a Siemens Giga the other the TP Link. Have connected the iPad to both some time ago and the new Kindle yesterday to the Giga. Having no luck with the TP. Here some details: The Kindle recognises the TP Link network. The Kindle asks for password key. tried "admin" and does not accept. "Unable toConnect..." I then tried "set up network" choice also with no luck using the same Connection type that works with the iPad as followed: DHCP is the choice on iPad. Here the problem! With DHCP set on the Kindle DHCP it does not allow entries IP address, Subnet etc. It does when set to Static, Static on the iPad does not reflect any entries. How do I go about finding the correct info? For the record the MAC address and PIN is known but where can it be used? Regards Jeff

try this solution http://bavovna22.livejournal.com/3204.html if you need to use static IP.

but if your iPad connects with DHCP, then the Kindle should connect with DHCP as well and you don't need to know all those IPs. Are you sure the password of the network is "admin"? As far as I know the wpa2 password must contain at least 8 symbols.

If you have access to the router, log in to its control panel and check the wireless network's password and dhcp settings. I suspect that "admin" is your router's password, not the network's.
