How Do I Retrieve Phone Number From Message That Has Just Name. Lost Phone

I lost my phone and just retrieve messages but need to retrieve an important call and need to return call but do not have number. Message is coming up as "chris" along w date and time because the number is saved on phone. I am able to retrieve date and time of message but not phone number. I am not signed up with t-mobile.com so I can't retrieve number online.
