Can Financial Care Extend Your Payment Plan Longer Than Is Mentioned?

tmobile had put me on a payment plan to pay 1,300.00 within four payments... it was quite hard to pay the second payment which is 500.00 dollars i pay 125.00 and asked the financial care if i could pay the balance on a credit card to keep my services from not being interrupted.. i am doing my best to keep my commitment.. financial care said that would be fine to make the credit card payment today 2-6-10 but when i tried to use the phone it is cancelled.. what happened to the financial care?

If they told you it was fine to do a change to an arrangement you should call and speak to a supervisor. Demand they review the call if they state they have no documentation. Generally once a payment plan is made it cannot be changed, however if you honored the payment installement by paying with any form of payment they should not have canceled your service. If you had the payment plan set up to come automatically out of a checking or savings account, and they told you to pay with your credit card they are responsible for removing your checking information from the arrangement so it will not still attempt the payment with your bank.. If they failed to do this and the payment went to your bank andreturned to tmobile this could have resulted in account cancelation. Good Luck!
