Car Won't Turn On Alarm Won't Turn Off; Just Changed The Battery

I changed my battery on my 2008 Suzuki Firenze now my car won't turn on and the alarm goes off immediately when I try to connect the new battery. When I bought the car it only came with a regular key NO remote key... How do I turn off the alarm or what I think is the "theft deterrent system"? I tried unlocking driver door manually, it only works till I try to turn the car on again then the alarm goes off again... HELP PLEASE

Do check your car for any short circuits which can cause during installation of the battery.

If your car has engine immobilizer system, chances are that it might be at problem.

There are many obd & obd2 devices which you can plug into your car's obd port and then check for the error codes.

Search for the meaning of displayed error code on internet or built in library of that device, then you will know the actual cause.
