How To Replace Brake Light Switch Plug Connector?

Our "replace brake light switch plug connector" broke. I got a replacement. Exactly where do you put the other end of the part? The male part to ge specific. Part # 2.0L L4 The rod on the other endl Part # 2.0L L4 Suziki Reno 2006 Thanks in advance. Respectfully, Robert Orris
