Yes, you can report a family member for fraud, whether it is check fraud, credit card fraud or whatever makes no difference, Just make absolutely sure its what you want to do because once the ball is set in motion it's nearly impossible to reverse, for example, even if the person who is losing the money decides they do not want to press charges, the banks can decide to press charges if a claim has been filed. It's a tough decision I'm sure especially because it's another family member but if you have tried everything it may be the only choice, if the person is using drugs as well, there is always an option of having that person committed, in which case, he/she may wake up and realize the error of their ways once they sober up.
