1) Could be your battery. Sometimes a bad battery acts fine but will not hold charge. Drive to your nearest discount car parts store and have your charging system and battery checked.
2) I ran into a similar problem with my 2006 Legacy. Failed to start after sitting parked in a garage for 7 days. Then 3 days. Happened four or five times. One time I jumped it and it immediately started . Had it towed to dealer and they replaced battery, radio, who knows what else under warrantee. Then they figured out that the computer was not going all the way to sleep when I turned off the car. They replaced it at 32k miles. Have 100k on it now and only happened once since: after sitting for 1-1/2 weeks. Bottom line: check the computer to see if it goes totally off.
