My Str-dn1030 Keeps Switching To Standby Mode ...
I Just got a new STR-DN1030 and when i tried powering it up the green light blinked a few times and went back to the red ... the system keeps moving into standby mode (red light) ... what seems to be wrong?

Please check the required voltage required ,perhaps you are pluging in to 230v power shoket but if it is of 110 v of usa requirement then unless u use voltage converter to step down the power from 240 to 110v it won't work ,rather danger to get damaged. check on the back of power required for your amps.

Hi,
If you configure sourroud, back, cenrter with wrong size, the power amp will go to standby mode in minutes. If you have wrong or low impedance connected it will go to standby mode too. Set the correct cut frequency to center and sourround speakers. Pay attention to temperature over the sony case. Do not cover the area over the case.
