Can I Connect My Bluetooth Speaker?

I have a Sony blu-ray player rmt-100u . Can I hook up a Bluetooth speaker? Does it have Bluetooth? I lost my manual. Thank you.

The Sony RM-T100U remote control does not have Bluetooth capabilities. It only supports infrared (IR) communication. So, you cannot connect a Bluetooth speaker to your Sony Blu-ray player using the RM-T100U remote control.

However, you can connect a Bluetooth speaker to your Blu-ray player using the following steps:

Make sure that your Bluetooth speaker is turned on and in pairing mode.

On your Blu-ray player, press the HOME button.

Select Settings.

Select Network.

Select Bluetooth.

Select Pair Device.

Select the name of your Bluetooth speaker from the list of devices.

Enter the passcode if prompted.

Once the Bluetooth speaker is paired, you should see the name of the speaker under Paired Devices.

To play audio from your Blu-ray player through the Bluetooth speaker, select the Bluetooth output option from the audio settings menu.

Here are some additional things to keep in mind:

The Bluetooth speaker and Blu-ray player must be within 30 feet of each other.

Some Bluetooth speakers may require you to press a button on the speaker to enter pairing mode.

If you are having trouble connecting the Bluetooth speaker to your Blu-ray player, try restarting both devices.
