No Sound
I left early for work one morning and forgot to turn my alarm off that had yet to go on. It went off and my dad came in my room and decided not to turn on the lights to find the off switch, but proceded to hit all the buttons until the alarm went off. Now I cannot get the sound to work- I have checked the volume, made sure the alarm was set correctly, tried to play my iphone- it shows it is playing, but no sound.
What could he have pressed to make this happen, and how can I fix it?

Sony Clock Radio Dream Machine Icf-c492 Doesn't Work When 9 V Battery Replaced.
The radio works when connected to AC. Butit doesn't work when connected to battery.
