Time Zone Numbers

I have a SONY Dream Machine (ICF-C218) with a time zone setting, numbered 1 to 6. I'm in the EST zone. How do I know which number it is?

According to the 2nd page of manual EST is number 2.

It says in the manual. Eastern time zone is #2 if you have lsot your manual
