Sony Ic Recorder Sx46 Compatibility Issues

I have a sony ic recorder sx46. I recently bought a new computer which has Windows 7. All my music files from the old computer play in Digital Voice Editor 3 on the new system, but it will not recognize my device to upload new music files (including some I recently recorded and would like to have access to). A closer look at eSupport at Sony says that although DVE3 is compatible with W7, my particular device which I've had for years (and still works exceptionally well) is not. Is there any other program that might work?
