How Do You Transfer Video From Sony Dcr-sx85 To The Sd Card

The only way that I know how to do this is to connect your Handycam to another device (computer/laptop), & insert the SD card into the pc/laptop. You can then go into the handycam's files and transfer pics/videos to the SD card.
The User Manual-to my knowledge after persuing it-also says similar information:
"To prevent your image data from being lost, save all your recorded images on external media periodically. It is recommended that you save
the image data on a disc such as a DVD-R using
your computer. Also, you can save your image data using a VCR or a DVD/HDD recorder, etc".
