Handycam Is Flashing Internal Memory Format Error--how Do I Fix That?

The handycam was recently used and now we are trying to download the game we recorded and it is flashing at me Internal memory format error.

go to the menu, then hit, show others at the bottom,then scroll down to the media format, hit int. memory     that took care of it for me
