My Sony 355 Allows Me To Only Open/close Door. Doesn't Play.

When the door is closed, all the discs keep rotating back & forth without stopping. I can never select or play any discs. Is this a cleaning problem? If so, how do I clean it?

No, this is not a cleaning problem. It's a functionality/operational problem and your device will require service repairs. Bear in mind, it may be cheaper to replace it than repair
