Weak Signal From The Wireless

we have a very weak wirless signal on the bluray (1 bar) why, we have the best Apple Airport Extreme 802.11n and the wirless is not very far in our home office???  our new Sony Bluray is the BDP-S590 and the TV is Sony and computer a MAC
