I Removed The Smart Card From The Sky Box, Now It Reads Unvalid, Why?

I had to copy numbers from the smart card, I reinserted the card, now it reads unvalid card. I don't have an outstanding bill. Does Sky have to reprogram a card after it has been removed? Why dois it read invalid?

That's the message you get if you try and use the card in a receiver it wasn't programmed for. It seems it somehow lost it's programming when you removed it. You'll have to call up customer service to have them activate it again.
