Singer7470 Making A Beeping Sound And Not Working
hi my singer 7470 which i just recieved is making a beeping sound every time i press the pedal and is not displaying the error sign on the lcd panel what could be the problem its releativley brand new and when i turn off and on the lcd panel and everything seems to be right until i put fabric under to start to sew it makes a funny noise then beeps and then nothing everything else seems to work just when the needles go down can anyone help

If the Singer Confidence Quilter model 7469Q sewing machine beeps when you press the foot control and it is not due to the buttonhole lever being down, then you must also make sure that the needle is set at the highest position. Also the bobbin winding spindle has been pushed back to the left; otherwise the machine will keep beeping every time you try to sew. To set the needle at the highest position, turn the hand wheel TOWARDS you(never away from you), until the needle moves to the highest position. Also try pushing the reverse button a couple of times, this will reset the machine.
