Lamp Timer Reset Problems
I just purchaced a replacement lamp for the Sharp xvz200 and follow the instructions in the manual to reset the timer. It does not work. I have tried it 4 or 5 times. Help

Are you seeing this display: “LAMP 0000H” is displayed on the
screen.
You have to reset the lamp time after lamp replacement. To reset lamp time follow these steps.
[1] Press the power button, so that a picture is projected onto the screen.
[2] Press the 'menu' button to display the 'main menu' screen, and press 'up' or 'down' buttons to move the cursor to select 'options-2'.
[3] Press the 'enter' button to display the 'options-2' screen, and then use the 'up' and 'down' button to select 'lamp runtime'.
[4] Press and hold 'enter' button for approximately 3 seconds. The 'lamp runtime' will change to 'time reset [power off]. Note: If the 'menu' button is pressed the lamp time resetting screen will be cancelled.
[5] Hold down the 'power' buttonfor at least [0.5] seconds or press the 'power' button twice to turn oFF the power. This will reset the cumulative usage time for the lamp unit into Zero.
