Sharp R1510 Start Button Replacement
How do you remove the control panel from the sharp R-1510 microwave as I need to replace the start button

Key unit FUNTKB332MRE0 lists for $25
Select button JBTN-B122MRF0A lists for $14
To remove the control assembly requires the cover removed to get to the two screws on the top, and it looks like the is a screw on the outside in the center/top. Then with some of the wires disconnected ( take a picture or write it down to ensure they go back correctly when your done. The control assembly will slide up and then pull off the frame. If the plastic push button is damaged then order the "select button", if it's the actual key switches, then the "key unit".
