I Have A Logik L40digb20 Lcd And Sharp Ht-sl50 Soundbar
I have a Logik L40DIGB20 LCD and have just purchased a sharp HT-SL50 soundbar but can't connect it properly. There are 3 methods to connect 1: HDMI output terminal(bar) to HDMI (ARC) (TV) have tried this but no joy believing the reason for this is my Logik HDMI is not ARC or CEC compatible.Method 2: 3.5 audio tv terminal(bar) to red & white audio in (TV) this makes the sound bar buzz but Logik audio remains as normal, at this point I should add in the soundbar manual http://www.sharp.co.uk/cps/rde/xtri/documents/documents/om/17_hifi-audio/HTSL50_OM_GB.pdf?siteid=&sitetype=1 it tells me to adjust the Logik audio settings but they are very basic and have not got this option.Method 3: 3.5 audio tv terminal (bar) to Logik headphone jack this is the easiest option but the Logik has no headphone jack. Right now I have it connected to my pc headphone jack and run a HDMI cable from my pc to my Logik and sound is fine, can watch DVDs, youtube etc... But I really wanted all sound to come from it Logik LCD, PS3 ( which can only be connected it one of the 3 methods work)I did try method 2 with an old dvd player I had and it worked fine. So i wonder if I brought an HD freeview box it would run through that?Another point to add is the sound bar has no remote.Before I take it back I'm hoping someone could help me with this matter?Any help would be much apprieciated
