How Do I Change The Journal Tape?
can't gdt the journal tape to feed

Possible solutions:

1.Turn the mode switch to the "REG" position with the ACcord connected.
2.Remove the printer cover.
3.Check that the print head release lever is in its printingPrintingposition.position
4.Set the paper correctly as illustrated above in the receiptside of the printer.
5.Insert the end of the paper into the paper chute as shownon the left. It will automatically be fed through the printer.
6.Cut off the excess paper that comes out of the printer withthe manual cutter.
7.Replace the printer cover.

If the Journal Side is printing the correct amount, that tells us that it's not a programming issue and that's a REALLY good thing. I think the problem is that the number wheel is jammed on the #1. Remove the paper and manually rotate just that number wheel back and forth and place it back to the same position that it was in. Try to print again and you shouldn't be back in business.
