To perform a factory reset on a Sharp EL 2196BL calculator, follow these steps:
- Turn off the calculator by sliding the ON/OFF switch to the OFF position.
- Press and hold down the RECA (or RESET) key.
- While holding down the RECA key, slide the ON/OFF switch to the ON position.
- Release the RECA key.
- Press and release the 2ndF key.
- Press and release the RECA key again.
This should perform a factory reset on your Sharp EL 2196BL calculator. Please note that this will erase all data and settings on the calculator, so be sure to back up any important information before performing the reset.
