Display Is Dim
My Sharp EL 1197 Piii display is extremely dim. It can be seen only in a nearly dark room. Can it be fixed?

The brightness cannot be adjusted. If you are experiencing abnormalities with the unit, you can try pressing the reset switch on the bottom. However, this will also wipe out time/date settings as well as tax and other saved information.
