Seiko Flightmaster 7t62 Small Second Hand Does Not Move With A New Battery

After replacement of a new battery, Seiko 7T62 was working for one hour and stopped working with no movement of the small second hand. After replacing the battery again with another new one, only the minute hand could move with stopwatch functioning properly. Small second hand remained static. Any suggestions to fix this issue?

Based on the information you've provided, it sounds like there may be an issue with the movement of your Seiko 7T62 watch. If the small second hand is not moving, this could be due to a problem with the watch's escapement, which is the mechanism that controls the movement of the hands. This could be caused by a variety of factors, such as a loose gear or a broken spring.

If the small second hand is not moving, but the minute hand is and the stopwatch is functioning properly, this could be due to a problem with the coupling mechanism that connects the second hand to the movement. This could be caused by a variety of factors, such as a broken gear or a misaligned coupling.

If you are not comfortable attempting to repair the watch yourself, I would recommend taking it to a professional watchmaker for service. A watchmaker will be able to diagnose the specific issue and determine the best course of action to fix the problem.
