Connect your Seagate hard drive to the dock, then connect the dock to your computer's router and an electrical outlet. Press the "On" button on the dock.
Step 2Open your Internet browser and go to the Seagate Share website (link in Resources). Alternatively, open the Seagate Dashboard and click "Seagate Share" to go directly to the website.
Step 3Enter your GoFlex hard drive name, username and password. Click "Sign In." If you opened Seagate Share from the Seagate Dashboard, you do not need to sign in. You will automatically go to the Seagate Share Home page.
Step 4Click "Seagate Share." In the Content area, click on the folder where you want to transfer your music files. Click the up arrow to open the Upload window.
Step 5Click "Manual Upload" if you only have a few music files to transfer, then click "Add File." Select the file to upload, then click "Upload." Repeat this process to copy all files to the hard drive.
Step 6Click "Drag and Drop" for larger numbers of music files. In Windows Explorer, drag the music files and folders you want to transfer into the Seagate Share Drag and Drop window.
Step 7Click "Upload" to transfer the files from the computer to your hard drive.
