The battery saver light is activated when the PCM module detects low battery output or charging system output. So have the battery and charging system (alternator) checked out. Also check the condition of the serpentine drive belt. If you are uncomfortable doing these checks yourself I know many automotive parts stores will test the battery and the condition of the serpentine drive belt for free.
