This Question Is In Regards To Sanyo 42' Lcd. The Sound Is Intermittant And Lit

This question is in regards to Sanyo 42" LCD. The sound is intermittant and litterely cuts off and on by itself. For example, when someone is speaking it is on but when they end what they are saying, the sounds cuts off (basically it mutes itself) until back ground noise is at a certain level or when someone else starts talking. How can I correct this so the sound stays on all the time?
