Sanyo Dp42740 Hdmi Not Working

My laptop HDMI to Sanyo HDMI connection was working fine. Then yesterday, it stopped working. It says that this is a DVI connection and to use an av input. I have tried resetting the tv, tried other HDMI wire and a friend's laptop as well. Still getting the same message. Please help.

There are two HDMI inputs. Only the far left (input2) is a valid HDMI to HDMI connection from HDMI video laptop connector. If your laptop does not have an HDMI out connection, you need the DVI to HDMI connector plugged in input1 on TV. Connection must be compatible AND cabled correctly, if still no go, try updating your TV firmware.
