Samsung Hp-s4233 - Can't Get Regular Cable Through Tv.
For many years we have had basis cable through our cable company. recently I've turned our cable off so I'm wanting to just get regular cable channels but my TV isn't picking up any channels. why? I've tried both air and cable and when it searches its not finding anything.

I check the specs and your plasma has the ATSC digital tuner to pick up the "over-the-air" channels. All you need to do is take the dead cable coaxial fitting from the TV, and hook up the antenna that you have bought. Set the auto-program to "air" and complete the channel search.
Dependent upon where you live will determine if you can get away with simple "rabbit-ears" or if you will need a roof antenna. Check with the neighbors to see how they get the free channels transmitted in your area.
