If your Samsung DV48J7770EP/A2 dryer won't heat, there could be several possible causes. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:
  1. Check the power supply: Ensure that the dryer is plugged in and that the circuit breaker hasn't tripped. If it has, reset the breaker and try the dryer again.
  2. Check the thermostat: The thermostat regulates the temperature inside the dryer. If it's faulty, the dryer may not heat up. You can test the thermostat with a multimeter to see if it's working properly. If it's not, it will need to be replaced.
  3. Check the heating element: The heating element is responsible for producing the heat in the dryer. If it's broken or damaged, the dryer won't heat up. You can test the heating element with a multimeter to see if it's working properly. If it's not, it will need to be replaced.
  4. Check the thermal fuse: The thermal fuse is a safety device that cuts off power to the dryer if it overheats. If it's blown, the dryer won't heat up. You can test the thermal fuse with a multimeter to see if it's working properly. If it's not, it will need to be replaced.
  5. Check the gas supply (if applicable): If your dryer runs on gas, check to make sure the gas supply valve is open and the gas line is not kinked or blocked.

If none of these steps resolves the issue, it's possible that there's a problem with the control board or another component in the dryer. In that case, you may want to contact a professional appliance repair technician to diagnose and fix the problem.
