I Just Purchaed A Dv350ag Gas Dryer. The Manual Tells Me The Connecrion Is 3/8'

i have a 3/8" x 1/2" flare, but it won't connect to the dryer 3/8" connection

If you have 3/8 on your dryer and 1/2 inch on your wall. I don't see a connection problem because you have the connector already. Did you try it counter clockwise and vice versa? lots of gas pipes and connections are metrics connections.
