Getting A New Payment Book
Hi. I am and have been making my daughter's student loan as she does not make enough money to pay it. I ran out of payment coupons a couple months ago (I always pay 2-3 mos. at a time) and have yet to receive a new one. I need it asap because I think I may be late on her payments, as I was waiting for the booklet. I do not have her account # (unless it's on the cover of the old payment book), only her S.S.N.# How do I get a new one mailed to me, and in the mean time her acct # so I can mail in some payments right away. I feel awful that I may have caused her to have a black mark on her credit report! She is currently doing field research and cannot be contacted. Can you please help me if I furnish you with her information? Thank You, Jeanne Durkin 419-360-5582

The easiest way is to contact the loan provider. You can look up the providers name on the internet and get a phone number. Call them and explain the situation to them and they can direct you to the payment department, which can solve your problem. If you have her SSN# you shouldn't have any problems. It's possible that they mailed the new payment book to the last address that they had for your daughter. Believe me, no one is not helpful if your trying to make a payment.
