Co-sign On Sally-mae Problem
My only assetis my house which currently is homesteaded. I live in Mass and have no other equity than my Medicare checks. I signed many years ago as a co-sign for sally-mae for a son(loan with interest now around 100,00). I am elderly and in poor health. I was told I maybe able to protect my property for my OTHER childrenif I place my home in a Life Trust. Question is this trueor will sally-mae still go after my home and my other childrens inheritence assets ?????? Do not feel my other children should suffer the irrespondsibility of their brother ......... Thanks for any advice
