How Do I Open The Hatchback On 2006 9-3 Sportcombi?

Can't open 5th door on '06 Saab Aero CombiSport with driver's side door button NOR key fob. IS THERE A MECHANICAL WAY TO OPEN MY HATCHBACK? Feels like latch release is "clicking" as it always has once unlock buttons are pushed. I've tried to apply downward pressure while pulling hatch release.
