My Model T430 Ryobi 4 Cycle Trimmer Timeing Belt Came Off, How Do I Set The Timi

My model T430 Ryobi 4 cycle trimmer timeing belt came off, how do I set the timing. Also the cover shows T430 but the manual shows RY13010. Is there a difference. Thanks Bill Moon

hello. The correct way to re-time this engine is to set the piston at TDC and there should be a timing mark/hole on the timing gear. Sometimes it is marked with a white marking. Set this mark vertically (make sure it is 100% vertical). Then slide the belt on and crank it.be sure not to allow any movement of the cam or crank while installing the belt
