Error Code 10
Both of my players that worked minutes before are giving me this error code 010! I am a tech too, so have done all the normal modem and router crap. ALL my other devices are working and connecting just fine. The players also state that the connection is excellent but than wont connect. However they will stream Pandora! So they are connected. Bad day for this to happen.

I tried many time to connect netflix on Roku but it was still the same error code. Howevere, when I tried to reset my roku and connected netflix again, I couln't access to my account netflix. They popped up a message that "the login request failed. Please verify that the information entered is correct....", but I'm sure my pass and user are both corrected because I could log in website.

Just spoke with Netflix support. Appears to be a Netflix only issue, due to high Christmas Eve volume. They are working on it, and hope to have it resolved in a couple hours (currently 5:20 PM US Central Time, so 7:20 PM US Central time). You will need to re-log back into your network from Roku at that time.
Update: Still not having luck with mine at 9:20 central....looks like some type of cloud issue....on Amazon's cloud, which Netflix uses to some degree (explains some of the Amazon outages below too perhaps)....see this link:

Confirming Theericker's answer, the issue appears to be with Netflix, not with Roku. I'm able to get a Netflix streaming movie on my PC (slowly), but not the Roku. Pandora does work on the Roku (as you describe).
Try downrightnow.com/netflix (at the suggestion of the Roku message boards, which shows disruption with their service.

It's just Netflix and Amazon. Netflix isn't working on any of my devices. I've had Roku for many months now and it works great all the time. Don't despair. It's just a Amazon/Netflix issue.
