Let's verify and change some settings on the router, then set up the Roku.
Use the computer directly connected to the router - open a web broswer and enter this address: http://192.168.0.1
A login prompt will appear:
Username: admin
Password: motorola<
Once logged in, click Wireless, then Primary Network - make these changes:
- Disable Automatic Security Configuration
- Enter a new network name (SSID) - this will be your network name - use something you have not used in the past
- Change the Security Method to WPA2-PSK
- Change the PreShared Key - this will be your new wireless password
- Save the settings
Press and hold the reset button on the back of your Roku for 15 seconds, then release. Power on the Roku and the setup will begin - you should now see your new network name - select it and enter your password when prompted.
Are you able to get online now?
If not try the followingfrom the Roku home screen, select settings > network > repeat guided setup.
