Printer Jam
I just installed the maintenance kit for my Ricoh Aficio SP4310n, now when i try to print something it says there is a jam in the front cover. I open and remove toner and check everywhere and there is no jam. What do I need to do to fix this problem?

Hi, if you installed the feed roller and friction pad, check them to make sure they are installed correctly. If the feed roller is not on the shaft all the way, it won't be able to feed the paper and you'll get phantom paper jams.

I had the same issue....replaced maintenance kit and receive paper jam, open front cover and no paper.
The issue was when the feed roller was replaced the shaft the feed roller connects to was pushed to the left. The feed roller wasn't spinning properly to feed the paper, thus causing the jam.
Be careful pulling the shaft back to the right or the gear will fall off and you will need to remove the left cover to put the gear back on the shaft.
