22' Tv/dvd Combo

To whom it may concern ,My 22" dvd player/tv : 1st lost picture with only sound then lost everything. I unplugged it hoping it would reset?? But it will not come on now. And even I press the power button, the little light flashes red. ( The on/off light) it is green when on. Now it will not turn on at all??? Please help.

The most common failure in flat screens is the power supply. They use 85 degree capacitors instead of 105 degree and they fail over time. If you can get inside the set you can check for this. The cylindrical capacitors will look sort of inflated or brown. Since this is only a 22" you would not want to invest a lot to repair it, so if you can't do it yourself if is time for a new one.
