Rca Vr5320r Stuck In 'format'

When I turn it on it says "Format" and I can't get it to do anything. I've tried taking the batteries out in hopes of it resetting but that doesn't seem to do it. The problem began when I incorrectly disconneted it from my PC.

• Formatting the

internal memory may

be required when:

1. The fl ash memory

becomes unstable after

performing many times

on fi le creation and

deletion;

2. To ensure the fi le

system compatibility (i.e.

fi le system FAT32 for

application).

• You may also format the

player when connected to

a PC by right-clicking on

the player’s drive name or

letter and select “Format”

from the menu. Make sure

you select FAT or FAT32 as

the file system.

Mine did the same thing. Out of frustration and no other options, I plugged it into my computer. After a few minutes, I pulled it out and it worked fine. All of my files were still there also.
