Code For Sony Dav-fc7 Home Theater System

WHY CAN'T I PROGRAM THIS REMOTE TO WORK WITH MY SONY DAV-FC7 HOME THEATER SYSTEM? I TRIED ALL THE CODES LISTED AND THE POWER BUTTON DOES STAY ON, BUT IT STILL DOESN'T CONTROL MY SYSTEM.
