Engine Looses Power: Found Two Tubes In Fuel Tank, One For Filter, What Is Other
Chain saw was losing power when and I found by cracking the gas cap and reseating I could cut for awhile before it started to act up. Like a vent wasn't working and the motor was starving for fuel. I was going to replace the fuel filter and found another tube in the tank with a male-mail connector. I couldn't find a hole that the male end could be plugged into.

What is the other tube in the gas tank for? Is it supposed to be connected somewhere in the fuel tank?

From youtube video this is a fuel return line and is not supposed to be laying in the tank but rather pulled up so the nipple is touching the place where the tube enters the tank.
