What Does Battery Saver Active Mean

The car's computer is detecting low battery output. It means that either your battery is dying or you have a bad alternator that isn't fully charging the battery. It could also be that your serpentine belt is loose and not driving the alternator at the correct speed to fully charge the battery.

Check the serpentine belt first. If that's okay, then take your battery to your local auto parts store and have them check it for you. I doubt if an alternator would go bad in 2009 vehicle. They usually last a lot longer than four years.
