How Do I Change The Stereo To An Aftermarket Stereo?

I have a 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix GXP and I want to change the factory stereo to an aftermarket stereo.  I learned that if I change the stereo I will lose the calendar function of the driver information center and lose the factory XM capability.  Is there any way I can change to an aftermarket stereo and still keep all the car's factory functions?
