Burning Smell From Within The Cabin

To Whom It May Concern: I have a 2005 Montana SV6 and have noticed a burning smell from the engine that seems to be more prominent from within the cabin. I get regular oil changes and all fluids seem to be at the appropriate levels. Do you have any advice for me? the cabin filter may need to be replaced, which may explain why the odor is stronger from within  the vehicle, but it doesn't seem right that the smell exist at all. Please let me know your thoughts.
